The answer is No. You can practice these modalities anywhere, anytime, for as long as you want or as short as you like. The benefits are enormous. Ask most Coaches, Medical Personnel, Trainers and Therapists, and they tell you the benefits are life-changing.
If you have never mastered meditation, it's a great time to enter it with a boost of what group energy can do in opening you up to what could be. It becomes a time of letting go and creating what is for your best and highest good. This boost comes from working with the tools of Hypnosis, Nero Linguistic Programming (NLP), Manifesting, tapping into the power of the Law of Attraction, Coincidences, Goal Setting, and a touch of Breath Work.
Have you ever found yourself deeply engrossed in a book, caught up in a film that time seemed to pass by effortlessly? If so, you may have experienced a common form of hypnosis, which many practitioners call the “everyday trance.”
Hypnosis is a normal state that we enter many times during the day each time we focus on something we’re concentrating on. The ability to focus on yourself at will is an invaluable skill to have and is the foundation for the practice of self-hypnosis.
When people are focused and motivated, they are at the peak of their power. To use that power to learn new skills more quickly, perform athletic feats, be more creative, tolerate pain, and face the unknown with greater confidence, Self-hypnosis is a means of learning to focus yourself, motivate yourself, be more self-aware, and make the best use of your innate skills.
Self-hypnosis is very similar to meditation in that both involve entering a calm and relaxed state. The main difference is that when people practice self-hypnosis, they tend to have a specific goal in mind, something that will improve them and their quality of life in some way. There is no particular goal in typical meditation practice, just an easy acceptance of wherever the mind goes without judgment or intention. Both meditation and self-hypnosis have the potential to get unstuck and create the life you desire.
Bring an open mind while here, let go of expectations, and be available to hear, see, and feel new solutions. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring a pillow and blanket. If you have a yoga mat, get that as well. We do have a limited amount of mats available, if you don't. At the end of the workshop, plan a relaxing evening for yourself and let your experience integrate slowly.
